Okay, AHHHH, this one may be even more confusing than the last because AFAIK the second Urban Nordica book, Dead on Arrival, doesn’t actually exist online anymore, NOR IS IT ACTUALLY FINISHED. But I wrote this back when it was in full go, AND BY ODIN’S BEARD I WILL POST IT. Needless to say, SPOILERS. Also, it starts with some REALLY nasty profanity.

I wrote this on a lark… just a scene I had in my head, lol. Possible excerpt from the seventh Urban Mythica book featuring Miriah, our heroine; Loki, a god on loan from Alisdee; and Raine, Tara’s tattooed vampire lover. And a more or less mindless beast Joseph hunting them.

Lawlz badfic *sfaj/Slender Man crossover. You know it had to be done…

I think this is and will be the only *sfaj story ever where Dee is the explicit POV character. Given the nature of the genre, I thought in this case it was an excusable little bit of vanity.

~2,300 words. Not technically horror, though YMMV.
